At Honey’s Hive Childminding, we stand out by offering a Montessori-inspired, nature-based environment where children can explore, play, and learn in a safe and nurturing setting. Led by Sana, a qualified and experienced childminder, we provide high-quality care and education focusing on each child’s individual needs. We work closely with parents to build strong partnerships, ensuring your child feels safe, happy, and ready to thrive.
Outdoor adventures
Our large outdoor garden encourages hands-on learning with a mud kitchen, mark-making area, tuff tray, guttering stand, and water and sand play, helping children develop creativity, independence, and confidence.
Indoor exploration
Inside, children enjoy a stimulating environment with role-play areas, a toy shop, messy play, reading corner, numeracy activities, and self-registration, promoting curiosity, problem-solving, and social skills.
Age groups catered for
We provide comprehensive care and engaging learning experiences for children aged 0-17 years, tailoring activities to suit every developmental stage.
A day of discovery at Honey’s Hive
Our structured yet flexible routine ensures children have a balanced day of learning, play, and rest.
Morning activities
Children arrive and enjoy free play, followed by a nutritious breakfast. Mornings include circle time, outdoor play, walks, and creative activities, punctuated by a healthy morning snack.
Afternoon engagement
After lunch, quiet time, naps, or calm activities allow for rest. This is followed by an afternoon snack, group play, sensory activities, and more outdoor time. Tea is served before story time and reflection, leading to pick-up.
